Andy was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario and has spent the last 10 years living in the Fergus/Elora area with his wife Amy and their two children Madison and Sam. Andy is a graduate of Humber College where he received his Funeral Service Education Diploma in June 2007. He has spent the last 17 years working for his father, Michael at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home in Guelph before pursuing his dream of becoming a funeral home owner in August 2016 (Butcher Family Funeral Home, Erin). Andy is very excited to serve the communities of The Town of Erin and brings with him a true passion for this industry and experience to help families in their time of need.

Sarah was raised in Georgetown, and after a short time in western Canada where she became a licensed funeral director and embalmer, she returned home to Acton where she is pursuing her many trades that complement each other. Sarah is not only a part-time funeral director and embalmer with the MacIntyre family funeral home, but is also a licensed hairstylist, make-up artist and a photographer. Sarah continues to help our families as a sales representative for Shelburne Memorials Ltd to provide lasting monuments in the local cemeteries around the area.
Barb joined the staff as an Ontario Licensed Funeral
Director in 2001 after interning and working for Coutt's and Son Funeral Home
in Cambridge. She has been involved with Hospice Dufferin and Coping
Orangeville, helping palliative and grieving people through times of
bereavement. These days, Barb co-hosts a local Widows Bereavement Group and
helps to facilitate our Blue Christmas event in December.
Jim Mundell is a retired businessman who was born and raised in
the village of Erin, is well known and respected in the area. Jim serves
the community as our Funeral Attendant and loves to serve the people of this community.
