Wanda Ethel (Lawrence) Neilson

Peacefully on Thursday February 27, 2020 at Hospice Wellington, with her family at her side.  Wanda Neilson, in her 94th year was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Neilson (2016), loving mother of Shirley Schuy (Hans) of Kitchener, Stan Neilson (Janice) of London, Glenn Neilson of Erin and the late John Neilson (1965).  Wanda was the cherished grandma of Rob, Natalie, Jennifer (Anita), Ashley, Nicole, Karen, Dan, Kevin and Karen, great-grandma of Justin, Ashley, Brittany, Benjamin, Katherine, Shannon, Sarah, Seana and Evelyn and great-great-grandma of Nathan, Cameron and Nicholas.  Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends who all enjoyed her baking talents.

Friends are invited to MacIntyre Family Funeral Home, 5399 Wellington Rd 52, Erin, on Tuesday March 3, 2020 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.  A funeral service in Wanda’s memory will be held on Wednesday March 4, 2020 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 83 Trafalgar Rd N, Hillsburgh at 1 p.m.  The interment will take place at Huxley Cemetery in the spring of 2020.  Donations in Wanda’s memory can be made to Hospice Wellington.  Cards will be available at the funeral home or you may send the family a condolence at www.macintyrefamilyfuneralhome.com
