Mildred Marjorie (Leitch) Carney

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 12, 2020 at the Village of Riverside Glen, Guelph.  Mildred Carney at the age of 93 was the beloved wife of the late Arnold Carney (1987), loving mother of Wayne Carney (Diane) of Estero, Florida and Rhonda Buck (Fred) of Elora, Ontario, adoring grandma of Richard Carney (Michelle), Anna Riley (Mike), Krista Stravach (Dave), Jeremy Miles, Kerry Young and Andy Buck (Stephanie) and great-grandma of Laura, Gillian, Margot, Luke, Emerson, Mirabelle, Anthony, Addison, Aislyn, Ellia and Nola.  Mildred was the caring sister of Sam Leitch (Marg), Emily Lawr, Harvey Leitch and the late Rhona Davison and Sadie Poole.  Mildred is predeceased by her parents Rolly and Bessie Leitch.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Village of Riverside Glen for the loving care and support they provided for Mildred.

Arrangements have been entrusted to MacIntyre Family Funeral Home, 5399 Wellington Road 52, Erin, Ontario.  A private funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday August 19, 2020 followed by interment at Huxley Cemetery.  A celebration of Mildred’s life will take place at a later date due to the present Covid19 situation.  Donations in Mildred’s memory can be made to The Alzheimer Society or a charity of one’s choice.  Donation cards are available at the funeral home or you may send the family an online at www.macintyrefamilyfuneralhome.com
