Gordon Terry Obituary

Gord passed very peacefully in hospital today after a valiant battle with cancer.

Gord is survived by his partner of 23 years Helen, his sisters Mildred and Phyllis, his brother Elgin, stepdaughters Laurel and Deena, three granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Ted.

Arrangements entrusted to MacIntyre Family Funeral Home, 5399 Wellington Road 52, Erin. Cremation has taken place and according to Gord’s wishes there will be no funeral service. He was never one to want to be fussed over and his wishes will be honoured.

Thanks so much for the care and compassion shown to us by the Bayshore nurses, Joselyn and Danielle, who helped immensely through this journey, as well as the team at Grand River Regional Cancer Center Dr. Burkett, Dr. Shahi and Dr. Doherty. Thanks also to the doctors and nurses at Groves Memorial Community Hospital for their care right up till his last breath.
