Peacefully in his sleep at Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care, Shelburne on Thursday February 4, 2021 at the age of 96. Arthur was the beloved husband of the late Thelma Holmes (2013), loving father of Karen King (the late Wendell), Bruce Holmes (Jennifer), Alison Thornton (Ron) and the late Ian Holmes (Josephine), cherished grandfather of Shaun (Brittney), Andrew (Cynthia), Mackenzie, Sydney (Jordon) and great-grandfather of Blaire.

Arrangements entrusted to MacIntyre Family Funeral Home, 5399 Wellington Road 52, Erin. Cremation has taken place and the family will be organizing a small family gathering and interment at Huxley Cemetery, Hillsburgh in the spring of 2021.
