Anne Burr Obituary

On Wednesday October 16, 2019 at Brampton Civic Hospital. Anne Burr, at the age of 77 was the beloved wife of Robert Burr for 38 years. Anne will be remembered and dearly missed by her friends Nora Barber, Trix Aebersold and Darlene Hill.

Anne, along with her husband Robert were the founders of the Upper Credit Humane Society and the Burr Foundation. Anne was very proud to have received the Queens Diamond Jubilee medal for her work with animals. Locally, Anne was known as “Antique Annie”.

A Celebration of Anne’s life will be held from MacIntyre Family Funeral Home, 5399 Wellington Road 52, Erin, on Saturday November 2, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Donations in Anne’s memory can be made to the Burr Foundation.
