James Buckland Obituary
Jim passed away peacefully at Mattawa Hospital after a 12 year battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Carol, sons Dan (Shelley), Andrew (Megan), his daughter Amy (Will), his grandchildren Logan, Ellie, Noah and Liam, his brothers and sisters Betty (Bill), Verna (Steve), Barb (Dave), Tom, Bob (Cheryl), John (Peggy) and his mother Dorothy. Predeceased by his father William. Jim was an employee of GSW for over 39 years and raised his family on the 7th line of Eramosa Township, before retiring to the Mattawa area.
He will be remembered fondly as a man who appreciated nature and met every challenge in life head-on. The family will receive friends at the MacIntyre Family Funeral Home, 5399 Wellington Road 52, Erin for visitation on Saturday June 22 at 12:00pm. A service will be held at 1:00pm followed by a lunch and social time. Memorial donations if you wish to Mattawa Hospice.
