Elmer Wilfrid Bird

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 6, 2019 at the Georgetown Hospital.  Elmer Bird, in his 85th year was the loving father of Michael Bird and Shelley Shank (Meritt), grandfather of Skye Shank (Autumn) and Chad Shank (Samantha), great-grandfather of Kaleb, Mason and Addison and brother of Marion McPhail (the late James), Evelyn Gable (the late William) and the late George Bird (Verna).  Elmer will be remembered by all his nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends are invited to MacIntyre Family Funeral Home, 5399 Wellington Road 52, Erin on Friday March 15, 2019 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Saturday March 16, 2019 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.  A Funeral Service will be held at MacIntyre Family Funeral Home, Saturday March 16, 2019 at 11 a.m.  Interment will take place at Coningsby Cemetery in the spring of 2019.  Donations in Elmer’s memory can be made to the Erin Agricultural Society or the Erin United Church, or charity of your choice.  Cards available at the funeral home or you may send the family a condolence at www.macintyrefamilyfuneralhome.com
